In our career, we had the opportunity to guide different groups, most of them architects, we would like to share their comments about us:

On a trip with our company (Urban planning / 11 persons) we booked a bicycle tour in Madrid. This 5-hour trip with Werner started with a lecture about the history and creation of this city. This was an energetic and colorful (literally) story. After that we made a bike ride through the city and ended at the rio project. Werner explained well what was unique about this project and he was able to explain the differences with the situation in the Netherlands.
He even recommend a good lunch spot after the tour and he was so kind to make a reservation for us.
If you like architecture or urban planning, you will regret if you miss this tour.
On a study trip to Madrid with our unit Customers & Analyses from the Copenhagen Metro we had a tour of the Madrid Rio project by bike. The tour was well planned and gave a very good understanding of the project in the context of Madrid's development as a city - including the complexity of urban planning, different stakeholders, economy etc. Werner is a very professional and thorough guide, and we recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in urban planning and infrastructure on large scale.
This is the best way to see any city and Madrid in particular. Werner really understands the history, urban design and architecture of Madrid and he explains it wonderfully, using a city map as the starting point and then taking you to see the actual neighborhoods and buildings. He is a friendly, knowledgable guide and is more than willing to be flexible and adapt his tour to your needs and interests. I was with my 18-year old daughter and we were both fascinated. I recommend him highly!
We visited Madrid on a Field trip with our Architecture firm. We decided to contact Madrides to help with the selection of areas and buildings to visit in Madrid. This turned out to be a very successful solution.
Rather than making spot visits to selected works of Architecture, we got a selection with a logical sequence, tied together by the history of Madrid´s urban development and the events that led to its form.
We were a large group of 38 people. Werner arranged for a half day´s historic walk in Madrid City centre, a full day visiting selected projects in and around Madrid by foot and bus, and a half day by bike, visiting selected works in Madrid West, Madrid Rio and Matadero.
As a result of current Covid 19 restrictions we were split in two groups with two guides – Werner and Juan - for areas where it was impossible to maintain sufficient distance.
A nightmare set-up for a guide? Werner managed to make things run smoothly – even with face masks.
We were met by guides who were very passionate about their job, about Madrid and, not to be neglected, about food and drink. We got a lot of background knowledge of the city. The tours were very interesting and highly educational as well as entertaining. It was beneficial to get a balanced evaluation of the works of architecture we visited, based on local opinion rather than just your own views.
The use of Audio guides makes it possible to hear everything and be free to walk around and study the surroundings at the same time.
I can highly recommend this type of arrangement because of the insights it allows for, and I can highly recommend Madrides based on the commitment, passion, and knowledge of their guides.
we had the pleasure of being guided by Werner to see housing projects in Madrid. he arranged a full day program for our office (23 people) and with him we followed the city's development and housing projects. His broad knowledge of the history of the city and its architectural development were remarkable. We were also impressed with his sensitivity to accommodate all our group needs. thank you Werner for this great introduction!
